GIRLS STEM UP TEAM

We are a group of 20 female-identifying undergraduate students form Atlantic Canada who are passionate in bridging the inequality gap in the STEM fields.

Our experiences as an underrepresented group in STEM has brought us together to promote diversity, inclusivity, and equity in the field through representation, awareness, and education.

WHAT WE DO?

We take pride in organizing and hosting an annual conference dedicated to girls and women in STEM. We present an exceptional opportunity for networking, fostering knowledge exchange, and spotlighting remarkable success stories that ignite inspiration and empowerment among aspiring girls pursuing STEM careers. 

Moreover, we are committed to sustaining active involvement within the STEM community throughout the year. By doing so, we aim to create a significant and lasting impact on the careers of girls in STEM fields, while simultaneously promoting increased engagement and fostering greater respect for women in the STEM domain.
