Susan Ibach - United we thrive

Susan Ibach is the head of the Amazon Future Engineer Canada program, focused on providing equitable access to computer science education for youth from underrepresented communities.

A winner of the 2016 Women in Communications and Technology Innovator Award, this UNB alumna has a passion for helping others discover the power of computer science. With a combination of technical experience from mobile apps to data science and 10+ years teaching technology, she prides herself in delivering engaging presentations.

Susan discusses the importance of diversity in all aspects of STEM and highlights the opportunities that technology can provide to enhance our unique ideas in the pursuit of our passions!

Julia rivard dexter - Your mountain is waiting

Julia Rivard Dexter is the CEO of Eyeread, the developers of Squiggle Park and Dreamscape, hyper-engaging game platform aimed at improving literacy worldwide.

One of Canada’s Inspiring 50 Women in STEM, Olympic athlete, and mother of four, Julia is a technology entrepreneur working on the global stage of innovative technologies. With several successful tech ventures under her belt, including CEO of SheepDogInc.ca, Google’s first North American premier Apps partner.
Julia adores helping kids be motivated to learn.

Through the story of her journey from small town Northern Ontario to global technology innovator, Julia’s talk focuses on the successes and challenges we face when reaching to achieve something great.
